The Gloria Ann Hawkins Peterson Memorial Scholarship was founded in 2001 in memory of Gloria Ann Hawkins Peterson, who served faithfully as a speaker, encourager and mentor to many women in ministry through the ministry of The Urban Alternative’s Church Development Conference and The First Lady Conference.

 

The scholarship will cover expenses for a Senior Pastor’s wife, up to $1,500.  Expenses will include airfare, hotel room, and registration fees for The First Lady Conference.  ALL other expenses will be the responsibility of the recipient.

 
How To Apply
Only those applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for The Gloria Ann Hawkins Peterson Memorial Scholarship.  Only qualified applicants need to apply.
CRITERIA:
  1. Currently a Senior Pastor’s wife for less than 3 years.
  2. An alumni of The First Lady Conference.
  3. Answer all questions on the Gloria Ann Hawkins Peterson Memorial Scholarship Application. Answers should be detailed and submitted in full statement form.  Please type or print legibly.

 

Applications must be postmarked before or by April 11, 2008.  The Gloria Ann Hawkins Peterson Memorial Scholarship committee will review applications and a recipient will be determined Friday, April 25, 2008.
