Greetings in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
I pray that you are experiencing the joy of the Lord and His abundant blessings in your life. As we enthusiastically prepare for this year’s First Lady Conference in Dallas, I want to inform you of an exciting opportunity to bless that deserving “First Lady” in your life.
This year marks the 11th Anniversary of the First Lady Conference! This year’s theme is “Returning to the Cross…” In keeping with this theme, this year at the 11th First Lady Conference, we want to honor and celebrate a pastor’s wife (or widow) with our 6th Annual Cheryl Crummie “Esther” Award for Excellence and Distinction in Ministry.
Many of you know of hard-working, dedicated pastor’s wives who work tirelessly alongside their husbands, supporting them in ministry as well as exercising their God given gifts and talents within their own ministry calling. Well, we have created a way to pay tribute to them. From the pool of nominees, our panel of judges will select one winner who has demonstrated notable achievement.
It will be our pleasure to present this award on Thursday afternoon, September 30, 2010, during the Anniversary Luncheon at the conference. The recipient of this award will receive a beautiful lead crystal sculpture engraved with their name and year, one dozen long stem roses sent to her home upon arrival from the conference, $1,000 honorarium toward the ongoing work of her ministry, and one (1) complimentary registration to the following year’s First Lady Conference to present the award to the new recipient.
I hope you are as excited as we are about this award. If so, please submit your nominations for a “First Lady” today. All nominations must be received in our office by Friday, July 2, 2010. You will not want to miss this chance to honor that special pastor’s wife who has touched your life and others.
Thanks in advance for your participation with this inaugural award.
For such a time as this,

Lois Evans, DHL
